The stunning Curaçao Pavilion literally stole the show this year with a unique and mesmerizing Curaçao blue seafloor that welcomed North American and International Dive Industry professionals to dive in and “feel it for yourself”!
As much as the Curaçao Blue provided awesome “curb appeal” for the destination, these “blue” factors can admittedly be experienced at so many other amazing destinations too. That is why the Curaçao Tourist Board in partnership with the Curacao Hospitality and Tourism Association’s (CHATA) Dive Task Force took a unique approach at this year’s DEMA Show to “truly underline the topside richness of Curaçao, highlighting unique experiences such as annual cultural events, cuisine, languages, music, history and, a strong private sector commitment to ocean conservation and sustainable tourism,” said Bryan Horne, owner of Dive Curaçao.
This unique approach was even further enhanced by some incredible Curaçao vacation package giveaways to announce the 2020 Curaçao International Dive Festival that is scheduled for September 27 to October 3rd, “where once again it will be an unprecedented collaboration for sustainable tourism, ocean conservation and a union of the Curacao tourism stakeholders,” said Jan Geerings, Managing Director of Dive Center Scuba Do.
Late last month, the Curacao Tourist Board in partnership with the Curacao Hospitality and Tourism Association’s (CHATA) Dive Task Force announced that they were preparing to make a significant splash at this year’s DEMA Show and to follow-up on a successful show last year where they emerged as a truly competitive World Class Vacation and Diving destination, positioning the Dutch Caribbean island directly against other notable destinations. According to Mr. Mick Bosman, Managing Director of Dive Division, Caribbean Dive Network and Chairperson of the CHATA Dive Task Force, “our mission was accomplished!… It’s great to see that the International diving community has become more aware of Curaçao as a prime Diving and Vacation destination. We are seeing an increase of dive tourism and I personally applaud the members of the CHATA Dive Task Force for their selfless collaboration for the benefit of Curaçao. I personally believe, that by working together we are succeeding in making Curaçao a World Class destination where conservation and sustainability are everyone’s responsibility.”
“Diving in Curaçao is a million-dollar experience, we invite you to come #feelitforyourself!” says the Prime Minister of Curaçao, Mr. Eugene Rhuggenaath, to uncover a World Class diving and vacation destination where conservation truly meets your next Caribbean adventure!
