Seldom Reef at Coral Estates

Seldom Reef is located east of Coral Estate Luxury Resort (Rif Sint Marie) and just inside Bullenbaai, north-east of the point where you will find Kaap Sint Marie.

This is a spectacular dive site but seldom ever visited (hence the name) because of the wind direction. It is very deep, with a sheer 90 foot wall, and is one of the best dive sites in Curaçao for a true, deep dive – but watch your safety limits.

Diver Tip: We highly recommended that you use a boat for this a mind blowing drift dive due to unpredictable currents and wind direction. Additionally you should only consider diving Seldom if you are an intermediate or advanced diver.

So if you are an experienced drift diver craving a site that offers more than the average wall dive, then consider adding this incredible Curaçao dive site to your itinerary.

Coral Estates is located on a beautiful and historical part of Curaçao; a unique resort with beautiful villas. Coral Estate is located on the southwest coast of Curacao, a 20-minute drive from Hato airport, supermarkets and golf course Blue Bay, and 30 minutes from both Westpunt (the west end of the island) and capital Willemstad.

Gorgeous natural surroundings with the Caribbean Sea on one side, and the saliña (an inner lake) on the other side. The saliña is part of the former salt pans, an area where you can spot flamingos in their natural habitat. They search for food here.

It is a beautiful and rustic area near the town of St. Willibrord with the large church as a landmark. The resort covers almost 900 acres and has spacious lots with natural vegetation. Only 30% has been built on. The natural levels the villas are built on, make sure that almost every villa offers sea view.
