Dive Center Scuba Do

Dive Center Scuba Do Curacao

At Jan Thiel Beach, to make it even easier to immerse yourself into the surrounding turquoise waters, Dive Center SCUBA DO is located right next to the beach. They are one of the oldest established Dive Shops in Curacao that offer PADI courses, shore diving, boat diving and a variety of boat trips via BlueFinn Charters.

About Dive Center Scuba Do

Since they opened in 1996, Dive Center Scuba Do is known for high quality shore diving, an unblemished safety record and excellent customer service. These qualities have not only become part of the company’s culture but sought after within the European dive and watersports communities.

Dive Center Scuba Do at Jan Thiel Beach

The bay at Jan Thiel Beach is very easy to access since it has an uncomplicated set of stairs assisting you in and out of the water.  The house reef is a typical Curacao diving and snorkeling site that starts at a sandy plateau leading to gentle sloping drop-off and a healthy reef.

You will find a big variety of hard and soft corals, donkey dung sea cucumbers, long spined black sea urchins, colourful fish and course, turtles. Inside the bay, lies the Strea – a wreck of a sailing boat which is a very nice ending to your dive or snorkeling experience.

The best treat, possibly, is where you might encounter a curious squad of squid looking directly into your eyes.

Sail with BlueFinn Charters to Klein Curacao

Jump on board the BlueFinn, a beautiful 75 foot Catamaran and sail to the deserted Caribbean island of Klein Curaçao! Just imagine yourself on this uninhabited island in the middle of the Caribbean sea with a pearl white beach stretching along the western shoreline.

Step a board and join the sailing trip to Klein Curacao (Little Curacao). Departure is at 8:30 AM and the sailing trip will take approximately one hour and 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions.

Once at the island, you can dive in or snorkel in the crystal clear waters or explore the island that includes a lighthouse, shipwrecks plus the incredible natural beauty and wildlife.

BlueFinn will hoist their sails at 3:00 PM, to ride on the easterly trade winds, for a relaxing sail back to the mainland of Curaçao and to arrive at Jan Thiel Bay around 5:00pm.

Curacao Diving and Snorkeling Guide

Largest of the ABC (including Aruba and Bonaire) Islands, Curaçao is home to some of the most bio-diverse reefs in the Caribbean. The sheltered southern coast is rich in coral, and suitable for divers of all levels, with little in the way of adverse conditions at any of the popular dive sites.

Divers and snorkelers never seem to be able to stop talking about the beauty of scuba diving in Curacao.  Let us assure you this is with good reason.

We like to think there is no place in the world offering such great shore dives, boat dives or opportunities to enjoy the beauty of sea’s nature while snorkeling. But honestly, as you could imagine, we are a little biased.

Use the Curacao Diving and Snorkeling Guide, including a interactive map with over 70 dive sites listed, to help you plan your next Caribbean diving adventure today!
