Car Pile at Sunscape Curacao Resort
The strangest wreck in Curaçao has to be the Car Pile at the Sunscape Curacao Resort, Spa and Casino.
According to Cathy Salisbury who wrote the book DreamWrecks, “If you’ve ever dreamed of simultaneously diving and driving, this is the place for you.”
The Car Pile at the Sunscape Curacao Resort, Spa and Casino sits in the middle between Oswaldo’s Drop Off to the east and Pierbaai to the west. The Car Pile starts at approximately 45 feet, a barge rests at 100 feet and the cars and trucks continue considerably deeper.
Take a 360 Degree tour of Sunscape Curacao Resort Spa & Casino – an all-inclusive vacation resort located on a private beach. Dive down on to this famous Car Pile or along the fantastic house reef where you will discover restored Elkhorn and Staghorn coral colonies that are teaming with colorful life just outside the breakers.
